Where Geography Is Subjective
Overheard on the French Quarter to Magic Kingdom bus route.
A cute, blond boy: "Hi! What's your name?"
Another cute boy: "I'm Quinn. What's your name?"
"I'm Josh. I'm six. How old are you?"
"I'm five and a half. Well, five and three quarters."
They proceed to jabber about the importance of precise ages and their favorite toys.
"Where do you live?"
"Houston. Where do you live?"
"I live in Tulsa. Want to come to my house sometime?"
Remember those days when you could make friends in five minutes and Tulsa was only two streets over from Houston? Sadly, I didn't get to hear the end of that conversation because DH and I had reached our stop.
Speaking of subjective geography, how cool is it that you can just take a bus from "New Orleans" to a kingdom of magic? Disney World is a fun site to relive the subjective geography of childhood.

Bloggy friendships kind of remind me of this. Someone you've never seen leaves a comment and you're bonded for life. I ♥ my bloggy friends!
I know right!! :)
My family just went to Disney and we stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort. My mom finally got her dream of going to Barbados and I was Island hopping on all my free time.
